Lactivate Perineal Ice Packs

These Lactivate Perineal Ice and Heat Packs provide instant, soothing relief to the perineal area after childbirth, to help with recovery from common post birth issues including swelling, grazes, tears and stitches.

Contents:

• 2 x Perineal ice packs
• 4 x Washable bamboo covers 

Directions of use:

Cold Therapy:

• Place in the freezer for 2-4 hours before use, then pop the frozen gel pack into the bamboo washable cover
• Place against the perineal area for up to 20 minutes
• If symptoms persist please seek medical attention.

Heat Therapy:

• Place the gel pack inside the microwave lying flat for time indicated the microwave
• 700 watts - 16 seconds, 1,000 watts - 13 seconds, 1,250 watts - 11 seconds
• After testing pack temperature 5 second increments may be added as needed until desired temperature is reached
• Do not heat for more than 25 seconds total
• Always test prior to application

Care:

• Wash perineal gel packs in warm soapy water
• Wash reusable bamboo covers by hand or in the washing machine
• Do not tumble dry
